Reference is made to the childhood story known variously as Chicken Little or Henny Penny in which a chicken in the barnyard, having been hit in the head by something that fell from above (e.g., a nut from a tree) exaggeratedly believes a great calamity is about to befall the farm and exclaims that the sky is falling, the sky is falling, a reaction that we would now characterize as being that of a drama queen.
