PEPFAR support to Kenya is channeled through several US government agencies. Key among them are the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Department of Health and Human Services (via the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), Department of Defense, and Department of State. In fiscal year 2010 PEPFAR funding in Kenya could be split among these agencies, respectively, as follows: 64 percent, 30 percent, 4 percent, and 2 percent. In that year 54 percent of PEPFAR support to motherto-child transmission prevention programs in Kenya was managed by USAID
