    • We searched CSD for entries with the simultaneous presence of conjugated pairs, including carboxylic acid/carboxylate, pyridines/pyridinium, imidazoles/imidazolium, amine/aminium, triazine/triazinium. To eliminate the possibility of missing certain entries using the combined search criteria, we also searched structures containing either conjugated acid or base. We then examined each structure manually to determine whether there is a hydrogen bond interaction between the conjugated acid and base
