    • In astronomy, the constellation is a group of stars forming a picture. Ptolémée identified 12 zodiacal figures as well as 36 other figures whose shape was inspired from animals and geometry. The delineation of current constellations is fixed by the International Astronomical Union since 1930 in Eugène Delporte's official atlas of constellations (e.g. Orion). However nowadays, the contours of such figures do not have a scientific purpose due to the use of coordinates
