14. Under ss 29b-29b of the State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1981, where a proposal is determined a "significant project", depending upon the potential financial, social and environmental significance of the project amongst other things, it is not subject to assessment under IDAS. Instead the project goes through an EIA process under the State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971.
