A consequence is that Eq. 3 then severely constrains homogeneous nucleation in the case of the cosmological phase transitions. We argue that the situation in the case of cosmological transitions is precisely the opposite: any amount of supercooling above a (very small) minimum value is allowed and homogeneous nucleation is viable.
