Diagnosis and management of neurofibromatosis Type 1
-
Korf BR. Diagnosis and management of neurofibromatosis Type 1. Curr. Neurol. Neurosci. Rep. 1(2), 162-167 (2001). Neurofibromatosis Type 1 is one of the most common genetic diseases in North America and 15% of these individuals will have an optic glioma. Treatment strategies for neurofibromatosis Type 1 patients differ significantly from other patients and this article discusses many of the unique factors in this patient population.
