29. We calculated the age and BMI homophily "score" using the average difference between an actor and his or her network neighbors. We then minimized this difference, while maximizing gender similarity, across all neighborhoods in the network.
30. The results include a subsequent seeding in both conditions of trial 1 that tests the robustness of our design for alternative seeding strategies.
