    • A prerequisite for the formation of monomer droplets is that the solvent or surfanctants do not strongly stabilize the surface of the crystalline particles (that is the crystal/solvent interface energy). Indeed we did not observe such a stabilisation, as concluded from the results derived from differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements, which are described in SI, Chapter D
