An article in Geriatrics mentions taking over about 700 patients, around 200 of whom were transferred to a residential home after examination. A further 150 patients were transferred to the care of the psychiatric staff. This left 350 really chronic sick patients whom she examined and classified over a seven month period, although a period of 10 months was given in the RSM paper
