    • A similar trend was seen in a previous study that employed swelling techniques in place of a deuterated binder. The trend however, in that study, did not extend over the entire pressure range, leveling off at high pressure and may be explained by disruption of the microstructure due to the swelling. The swelling most likely affected the previously reported surface area, which is greater than that what is currently reported. Such possibilities were noted in the prior study and prompted the current work. See Ref. [17]
