Predictors of pregnancy complications in women with congenital heart disease
-
Recent ZAHARA study including 1302 pregnancies in women with congenital heart disease that identified cyanotic heart disease, use of cardiac medication, left heart obstruction, mechanical valve replacement, and systemic or pulmonary atrioventricular valve regurgitation as risk factors for maternal cardiac events. The authors suggest a new risk score that still has to be prospectively evaluated. One major limitation of the study is the lack of information on ventricular function
