13. The optical rotation value for chloranthalactone B (4) was reported as [ α ] 340 27 -130.3 in the text of Ref. 12 (Chem. Pharm. Bull. 1980, 28, 94). However, in the text of Ref. 11 (Heterocycles 1978, 9, 140) and in the experimental of Ref. 12 (Chem. Pharm. Bull. 1980, 28, 98), the optical rotation values for chloranthalactone B (4) were reported as [ α ] 340 27 -1303.3. The authors suggested that the optical rotation value [ α ] 340 27 -1303.3 are typing errors in the text of Ref. 11 and in the experimental of Ref. 12.
