    • In a collaboration with B. Weisman,48 we found our unsorted HiPco SWNTs actually contain a 60% to 40% semiconducting to metallic ratio. The difference is probably due to the decreased set of possible SWNT chiralities in this diameter range. For the larger diameter arc discharge material, the statistical 2: 1 ratio holds.

    • Unfortunately, over time the SWNT films tend to lose their adhesion to the glass substrate and begin to flake off. At the time of these height profile measurements, the AD U-X-SWNT sample was compromised, and it was not possible to measure an accurate value of film thickness.
