Here the "angular momentum" L for the quasi-one-dimensional case is not used in its strict sense since the nodes of the gap do not necessarily pass through the origin. Nonetheless, we use this term meaning the number of nodes that intersect or run nearby the Fermi surface

It is known that one-dimensionality tends to suppress superconductivity due to superconducting fluctuations. One might suspect that odd-frequency pairings may be even more fragile against fluctuations compared to even-frequency pairings. We have checked, using the T -matrix approximation by Y. Yanase, T. Jujo, T. Nomura, H. Ikeda, T. Hotta, and K. Yamada, Phys. Rep. PRPLCM 0370-1573 10.1016/j.physrep.2003.07.002 387, 1 (2003), that the effect of fluctuation is nearly the same between even- and odd-frequency pairings. Also, we note here that the spin and charge fluctuations (glues for Cooper pairing) should not be confused with the superconducting fluctuation that degrades superconductivity. (Pubitemid 37282154)
