    • We use the terminology soliton to refer to manifestly nonlinear, persistent, propagating, localized structures that thus have soliton-like behavior. These solitons have well defined features that appear to follow from the nonlinear wave equation derived in Sec. of the manuscript. As our simulations only produce a single soliton, however, we cannot confirm whether they possess the property that when they collide with other solitons, they emerge unchanged.
