Belta Calleja Polymer 48 2007 4814 4823 Although the authors claimed the γ→ α′ (or α) crystal transformation in the neat Nylon 6 fibers during heating, the presence of γ form is evidently seen at 192 °C by the sharp reflection peak of the γ (001) plane at 2θ∼21.3. It suggests the preservation of the γ form prior to its melting, i.e. there is limited γ→ α′ transformation, if any
