6. That event has produced a joint statement on the value of design in public policy that may serve as a useful reference point for further development.
7. In June, 2010, UNIDIR co-hosted the Conference on Strategic Design and Public Policy in Glen Cove, New York, with the Said Business School at the University of Oxford, and the Center for Local Strategies Research of the University of Washington.
