Though I will not be considering Žižek's contribution to this discussion, I should stress that the third part of The Ticklish Subject addresses 'the "deconstructionist" shift from Subject to the problematic of multiple subject-positions and subjectivizations'; a shift that also informs Rey Chow's work particularly as it appears in The Age of the World Target.
