    • The rate of energy transfer from F8 to PPV is found to be at least an order of magnitude lower than that to PI, even at the relatively high PPV concentrations (50%) used in this study. This is attributed to phase segregation effects between F8P and PPV, which are absent in F8P. This results in preferential energy transfer to PI rather than to PPV
