This articles analyzes the methodology and results of the JUPITER study. It shows significant epidemiologic and methodologic inconsistencies in the JUPITER study that warrant consideration. The article emphasizes that the study population was not a healthy population and that standard medical care was not provided to the population that could have changed the result of the study significantly
