    • Revascularization surgery for paediatric moyamoya: A review of the literature
    • The literature regarding direct, indirect and combined surgical procedures was reviewed. Patient characteristics, presenting symptoms, indications for surgery and outcomes of surgery were reported in a pooled analysis. The authors concluded that surgical revascularization was indeed efficacious. Although direct and combined procedures resulted in superior revascularization based of postoperative radiographic evidence, clinical outcomes were not statistically different
