    • InHPO-CJ1 was prepared hydrothermally from a reaction mixture of InCl3•6H2O, H3PO3, 2-methyl-1,5-pentanediamine (MPMD) and H2O with a molar ratio of 1.0:4.0:3.0:277.7. The resulting mixture was heated at 180 °C for 7 days under static conditions. The colorless hexagonal prism shaped single crystals (39 wt.% yield based on Indium) were separated from the remainder of the product by sonication, washed with distilled water, and air-dried for characterization.

    • 31P MAS NMR study and the charge balance, the two residue peaks have been assigned as O atoms with the occupancy of 1/6. Due to the disorder of the organic species, the distance and angle restraints were applied. All non-hydrogen atoms were refined with anisotropic thermal parameters. The result of the elemental analysis of InHPO-CJ1 is consistent with the theoretical values calculated by the single-crystal structural analysis. Analysis found (%): In, 35.46; P, 18.05. Calc. (%): In, 35.77; P, 18.24.
