AMBA, the Association for MBAs, is located in the UK, was established in 1967 and currently accredits 167 master’s or doctoral-level business programmes. It is not as widely sought-after as accreditation by AACSB or EQUIS. Further, it accredits individual ‘programmes’ rather than entire business ‘schools,’ which gives its accreditation a completely different emphasis. For these two reasons, AMBA accreditation is not specifically analysed in this paper
