    • Note that (co)solvents like alcohols, malonamides or ketones where BTBPs or BTPs that are dissolved are in fact hygroscopic and microscopically heterogeneous, as these molecules have amphiphilic compositions, involving polar and apolar moieties. Thus, micro-domains of the solutions may by "gas-phase-like", while others are more polar.
