Also, this study demonstrated an association between SDB and negative outcome in patients with heart failure.

The implications of this study were to focus attention on the highly treatable type of SDB in patients with heart failure.

The implication for this study is that a treatment targeted at decreasing the positional fluid shift in heart failure may impact both central and obstructive sleep apnea positively
