note
-
The Harvard Business School, which maintains its own staff of professional case writers, is the largest publisher of business teaching cases in the world. Its collection also includes cases supplied by its institutional partners, which include Babson College, Stanford University, and the University of Western Ontario. The Case Research Journal, published by the North American Case Research Association, is the premier peer-reviewed journal of teaching cases. Caseplace, a project of the Aspen Institute's Business and Society Program, aggregates in a single searchable web site cases relevant to the social issues domain from a variety of sources. Primis provides a source of textbook cases published by McGraw-Hill, a leading higher-education publisher in business. The European Case Clearinghouse is a major aggregator of teaching cases, particularly those developed at European universities. Pew mainly publishes cases in international relations, but includes some cases on business topics. The North American Case Research Association is the leading professional association for case research and publishes proceedings of cases published at its annual meeting.

Here, I make an exception and classify as nonmarket stakeholders religious activists (in this case, Mennonites) who acquire shares in a company for the purpose of advancing a moral agenda through the proxy voting mechanism. Such shareholders are sometimes referred to as social investors
