Interestingly, in Ref. the motivation to study the weak-pairing phase was to relate its properties to the Moore-Read state supposed to represent a ν=5/2 fractional quantum Hall liquid. The Moore-Read state in the coordinate representation is a Pfaffian which can be asymptotically related to the weak-pairing wave function (in the limit of large pair separation).
