    • Neurocognitive endophenotypes for bipolar disorder identified in multiplex multigenerational families
    • We examined cognitive functioning in a large sample of bipolar pedigrees and found three cognitive measures that are genetically correlated with the illness. These findings suggest that neurocognitive measures are strong candidates for endophenotypes for bipolar disorder, as common genetic factors influence risk of the disorder and neuropsychological performance
