    • 2fip (0.1 mmol) and 4, 4′-bipy (0.1 mmol) in methanol (2 mL). The resultant mixture was stirred for 30 min and filtered to allow the evaporation of the filtrates. Qualified single crystals were obtained after several days. Yield: 50-60%. Further experiment details are given in the Supporting Information.
