    • In our particular example the permalloy and the orthoferrite differ qualitatively in the value of the factor Q=2π Ms 2 /K, where K is the crystalline anisotropy constant. The opposite limits are realized for permalloy (Q1) and orthoferrite (Q1). This circumstance, together with the sample shape, leads to a sharp difference in the nature of magnetic defects: they are vortices in permalloy disks and domain walls in orthoferrite rectangles.
