This Cochrane review of 12 trials (672 women) looks at the effects of pelvic floor muscle training for urinary incontinence compared to no treatment, placebo, or inactive control, which found fewer incontinence episodes as well as better quality of life in those undergoing pelvic floor muscle training as compared to control patients.
