In the case of a single DW problem, the energy gap of the out-of-plane mode originates from the hard-axis anisotropy energy (see Ref.). In the chiral helimagnet, the DM interaction plays a role of the hard-axis anisotropy. Furthermore, the zero/quasizero mode in the MKC state appears at the bottom of continuous bands. This situation is in contrast to the DW problem, where these modes appear as localized modes isolated from the spin-wave modes.
