    • For a semi-infinite lattice, where n=0,1,2,3,..., E=0 is an eigenvalue of H provided that ψ0 (n) is bounded as n→, which implies a constrain on the asymptotic behavior of F1 (n) and F2 (n) as n→. Conversely, for a finite lattice with F1 (N) =0 and F2 (0) =0, E=0 is always an eigenvalue of H.
