It should be noted that it is possible that a residual conductivity, impossible to resolve via an exact diagonalization study of σdc on small systems, exists. We see no evidence for finite-size effects here, although we are restricted to very small L.

arXiv:1003.2613v1 (unpublished), who also investigate the XXZ chain with Δ=1. Their conclusions are quantitatively consistent with our results. It should be noted that their work goes beyond that presented here by connecting the MBL transition to the infinite randomness universality class.

After this work was completed, we became aware of the work of A. Pal and D. A. Huse, arXiv:1003.2613v1 (unpublished), who also investigate the X X Z chain with Δ = 1.
