The range of momentum transfer in Cornell experiment (0.10 < |t| < 0.25 (GeV / c) 2) guarantees that the diffractive processes (nuclear coherent and electromagnetic) do not contribute in the yields. However, the contribution of the decay products of vector mesons (ρ and ω) is very relevant within this kinematics, but they were clearly separated in the Cornell experiment[29].
