    • In the bilayer structure the orientation of AFM vector is governed by competition between the intrinsic magnetic anisotropy, Eq. , and exchange coupling with the adjacent FM layer. However, in the typical cases an effective field of exchange coupling is much smaller than the spin-flop field of AFM and thus can be neglected.
