    • Note, in standard BCS theory, d -wave symmetry results in a low-frequency dependence of the B1g polarization which is proportional to ω3. Although this applies for tetragonal systems, materials with an orthorombic distortion can produce a linear low-frequency term with a magnitude proportional to the s - to d -wave admixture as observed in YBa2 Cu3 O7-δ.
