This is justified, since, for the parallel field, the London penetration depth λL 110μ is much larger than half of the Nb/InAs bilayer thickness ( dS + dN ) /2=25μ, while, for the perpendicular field, the Pearl penetration depth λP =2 λL2 / dS 700μ is larger than half of the Nb stripe width WS /2=500μ.
