    • DFT calculations at the same level of theory as for this study indicated that the cis1 and the trans oxidative addition products of [Ir(sacac)(cod)] are equienergetic. The same result is obtained for [Ir(acac)(cod)]. The cis addition found for the metal-triazolato complexes of this study is thus real and not a consequence of the computational method used
