50. Strictly speaking, the "Council for Mutual Economic Assistance" is less a general term than the others listed. It is included here, however, so that it can account for the block of numbers that it represents and because in the context of the entire scheme this specific term functions as a general one.

Users of the European law schedules who are aware of LC Subject Heading practice might wish to think of form captions as classification "free-floaters," that is, as captions that generally are not subject-related. Form captions usually recur in the same place relative to any given subject caption.
