2, salicyl aldehyde and 1,2-phenylenediamine in a ratio of 2:2:1 was sealed in a Teflon reactor, and heated at 120 °C for 1 day, and then cooled to room temperature at 3 °C/h. Subsequently, purple crystals were obtained in 85% yield based on Co. Element analysis (%) for 1: Calc: C, 46.09; H, 3.09; N, 5.37. Found: C, 46.01; H, 3.11; N, 5.32.
