    • It must be borne in mind that in accordance with the LOS Convention (Art. 286), any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of the LOS Convention which is not excluded by the operation of Part XV, section 3 (Arts. 297 and 298) falls under the compul sory procedures in section 2. Thus in principle an international court or tribunal referred to in Art. 187 can deal with disputes between States Parties concerning the interpretation or appli cation of Art. 76
    • It must be borne in mind that in accordance with the LOS Convention (Art. 286), any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of the LOS Convention which is not excluded by the operation of Part XV, section 3 (Arts. 297 and 298) falls under the compul sory procedures in section 2.
