Powders were mixed at the ratio of 1.1 Sr1-x Cax: 2CoP:0.1P. Excess Sr, Ca, and P were added to compensate for high-temperature vaporization. The mixtures were placed in alumina crucibles and sealed in evacuated silica tubes and then heated up to 900°C. The results were then pelletized and heated at 1000°C for 12 h. Then the sintered pellets were reground and subsequently pressed into pellets, which were sintered at 1100°C for 20 h and then 1150°C for 20 h.
