27. 9 In this experiment, each group of animal received respective dosages test samples for five days, followed by administration of 200 mg/kg body weight Aspirin suspended in Tween-80 (1%). At the end of the drug administration schedule, animals were fatsed for 24 h and sacrificed by cervical dislocation. Their stomach was opened along the greater curvature, washed with luke warm saline and examined under a dissecting microscope for ulcer index.
