    • The Bessel function Jn (x) is roughly proportional to Ai (21/3 n-x n1/3) for n ≥ x. The Airy function Ai (z) drops of as exp (- 2 3 z3/2) for large z. Combining this, we obtain that the larger-order Bessel function is smaller than some error ε, with ε=exp (-Q) if n>x+ Q2/3 x1/3 + 1 2 Q. This drop off limits the required summation range.
