    • Comprehensive and quantitative analyses of carbohydrate recognition of ERGIC-53, VIPL, and VIP36 were conducted by utilizing frontal affinity chromatography. Although these proteins share structural similarities in their carbohydrate recognition domains, they exhibit distinct sugar-binding specificities and affinities, which can be finely tuned by sensing pH.
