20. At t=14.0625, the sum of the Schmidt coefficients in the iTEBD was greater than 0.999 999, at t=15.0625 it was greater than 0.999 96 and at 16.0625 it was greater than 0.9994. This error cannot be directly translated into a truncation error due to the infinite system size, but it gives some estimate. We chose kmax =4096 as a balance between the available CPU time and memory for the different stages of the algorithm; larger kmax were not practical.
