We have proven, based on the equivalent circuit approach, that Î should obey this form with a linear ω dependence of the numerator and our fitting results using this formula agree with our simulations and experiments very well. We have proven, based on the equivalent circuit approach, that Î should obey this form with a linear ω dependence of the numerator and our fitting results using this formula agree with our simulations and experiments very well. Finally, the linear ω dependence for low frequencies is a general feature of natural optically active materials (see L.D. Landau, Electrodynamics of Continuous Media (Pergamon Press, Oxford, 1984), 2nd ed., Sect.Â, p. 362). Here, we should note that there is an ω in the numerator; therefore, Î(iÎ) is pure imaginary.
