    • In this randomized prospective trial, autofluorescence endoscopy significantly increased the diagnostic yield of surveillance endoscopy to detect intraepithelial neoplasia in the high-risk patient group with ulcerative colitis, even when compared to high resolution endoscopy in the control group. This illustrates a potential future use of AFI to screen large areas at risk.
